Plants, wild flowers, seed heads, woodpile, bug house, bird feeders, potting sheds, ponds, the patterns of leaves and views of the Barbican from this unique wild city space.

Bring your own materials and a sketching stool if you have one.

The workshop will cover colour, light and shadow and develop an understanding of tonal contrast. You will use a range of techniques to show texture in sections of plants, trees and foliage to create a vibrant composition. Learn about colour theory and watercolour methods to bring a garden to life on paper, such as wet into wet, layering with transparent glazes of watercolour and dry brush techniques
