Comics workshop

This workshop introduces students to the art of Comics or Graphic Novels.

Over two days, students will produce a comic while benefiting from practical advice covering transition and framing, character and background design, inking and colouring.

At the end of the course, students will have completed a one-page comic and acquired elementary knowledge to further their endeavour with the art form.

2-day workshop, 10:00 to 16:00 (with 1 hour lunch break)

Pencils HB or 2B for sketching/layouts

Rubber

Waterproof Black Pens Fine-liners or Nib Pens for precise inking: Micron, Uniball or Rotring

Brushes for inking and colouring

Waterproof India Ink

Sketch Papers A4 or A3

Paper for finished pieces 220gsm A3 smooth surface
