Gouache Still Life

Gouache is an opaque, water-based paint which is easy to use.

Still life painting presents an opportunity to have total control over your painting: you choose the objects, how they are arranged and decide on their colour.

On this course we will make sure our still life paintings are full of life, vigour and colour. To get us off to a flying start we will look at some examples of still life paintings and discuss the essentials of a successful painting.

If you have some small favourite object(s) you are welcome to bring them but I will plenty of material to choose from.
