World-Building in Illustration is a compendium of visual elements that immerses the viewer into a specific universe. Its features can look familiar or odd, but they should make sense and tell a story once joined together.
This designed universe is so often a reflection of its creator’s inner world, a conduit for their thoughts and emotions.
This 5-session course is for those invested in imagining and shaping a world, either as concept art for specialised work (illustration, comics, animation) or out of sheer pleasure, artistic expression, and love for compiling personal studies with drawing and colour.
