Wednesday evening short course: World Building in Illustration 2

This 5-session course is for those invested in strengthening their art through visual research, whether for professional work in illustration, comics and animation or simply for the pleasure of gathering personal observations with drawing and colour.

The course requires you to spend one hour of research weekly, outside class. This can involve sketching, taking photographs, collecting items, reading and/or writing.

You will then use your research in class exercises. These will focus on a different side of world-building in illustration each session and examine how illustration practice can be enriched by paying attention to the world around you.
