Thursday Watercolour, Pen and Ink Class

This course introduces you to the dynamic combination of watercolour and pen and ink. You'll discover how to merge the fluidity of watercolour with the precision of ink to create vibrant, expressive artwork.

We will cover essential techniques like washes, wet-into-wet blending, texturing, composition, and special effects (spattering, lifting) before learning to integrate pen and ink into your pieces.

This class is suitable for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to those looking to refine their techniques.

MATERIALS

Watercolour paper - 300gram A3, rough or cold pressed

Watercolour tubes - 50 ml (or watercolour pans). Chinese White, Cadmium Red, Crimson, Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre.

Nylon Brushes - Watercolour Brush set with a Fan brush, (nos 2,8,12,10)

HB pencil

Waterproof Indian Ink - small bottle
